Exams are killing me, as is my love life, just because it's all unrequited. I'm making the bold decision to change my username here. I really, really hate it. It's just so immature and when I got dA I never planned ahead, did I? It's going to take some time to go and watch everyone I watch on this account, so I'll do it after my exams.

How's everyone? Hopefully everything's good. I've been a little depressed lately ('a little' is a euphemism, if I'm being completely honest). I'm getting better, but there's still the stress of my Drama performance and my Physics exam on Wednesday. Monday's really going to be a fucked up day. I'm asking someone out (and he'll probably decline) and I have my fucking Drama performance, which none of us have rehearsed for.

I'm happy the Euros have started. I'm supporting Spain, but I'll end up watching majority of the matches because I'm a whore.

Does anyone know any tips for applying eyeliner? I want to start wearing some, but it looks a little tricky. I bought two pen eyelines and one actual liquid eyeliner. I'm determined to master the art of applying them.

I'm sorry for not replying to comments and commenting on journals for a long time. I sort of went on hiatus because of my exams. I'm not fully back yet, nor will I be until 12th June. If there's anything important that you want me to read, I'll be more than happy to do so.

Life sucks, really. I've moved on from the last guy I liked (that boat sailed a long time ago). Unfortunately, my feelings are still unrequited. There is a guy that I like who's in sixth form and we're friends...so perhaps there's an opening there. I doubt he'd date me, though. He's too good for me, but according to me, everyone is.

Physically, my stomach is killing me.

I'm also upset because the football season is over. Man U won everything, so I'm happy. Moreover, Dima Bilan won Eurovision. I was so happy. He sounded amazing, as per usual.

I'm currently addicted to Justin Nozuka. Please give him a listen. I suggest 'After Tonight' and 'Criminal'. He writes all of his own songs and his voice is amazing. I'd say he's the male version of Christina Aguilera but a little rougher around the edges -- he's not airbrushed or polished. Just raw talent.

I hope everyone's a hell of a lot happier than I am. I feel like absolute crap and I can't even smile. Being happy is taking too much effort for me. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I haven't updated in ages, I know. I'm bad. I've just been really busy. It's a pathetic excuse, but it's true. Too much pressure from school and all that crap. Things aren't exactly going perfectly for me. Me and him...well, nothing's ever going to happen. I'm officially moving on. It doesn't feel to bad, to be honest. I spent Sunday night crying about him, but I'm coping well (better than I thought). I'm actually enjoying myself a lot more. I feel liberated because I don't feel guilty when I'm with other guys anymore. It's a nice feeling.

I've been doing a lot of research into random things lately. I've been looking at universities, although I still have a few years before I have to even think about applying. I just like to plan ahead. I've been writing and reading quite a lot. I've realised that it's the small things in life that I take for granted and I'm trying not to. So I'm spending more time just listening to music, reading, enjoying the sun/rain and stuff like that. Going back to basics.

I'm going to start reading, but I don't know what. I don't want to read fiction (and definitely not fanfiction). I want to read something challenging that questions reality. Something intellectual. Any suggestions?

My taste in music has expanded, too. I'm currently in love with The Fratellis. I've always known about them, but I got their album yesterday and I love it.

I have to say, life is taking it's toll on me...but somehow I'm enjoying it. Like I said earlier, it's all the small things. Maybe I'm just speaking complete bullshit because it was sunny on Friday and the prospect of summer is doing things to my mind. Summer always makes me optimistic and happy.
